Work
My academic work involves a range of activities. Currently, the majority of my workload is focused on research and supervising PhD students, while I also engage in education for bachelor and master programs at TUDt and internationally. Although I was previously active in management and valorisation, these are no longer my main priorities. Together, these areas enrich my academic pursuits and foster interdisciplinary collaboration, creating a comprehensive experience that bridges heritage and sustainability.
Research
Research allows me to continue learning and satisfy my curiosity about cities and their evolution. By combining various methods and often bridging different disciplines, my team and I aim to provide more inclusive and reliable answers to our research inquiries.

Education
I believe that everyone has the potential to excel in their passions. I enjoy encouraging students at all educational levels to step outside their comfort zones and maximize their efforts, allowing them to learn and grow while making a positive impact on science and society.

Valorization
I gladly work together with governments, institutions, NGOs, and communities, as they are the ones actively changing our cities. Their engagement is crucial for achieving sustainability, and together we can discover more effective routes to a more sustainable future.
